How to return if you placed an order that shipped within Australia

What is your return policy for rag-bone.com.au?

We know not everything works out every time. Items returned within 30 days of receipt in original condition and with tags attached will be refunded to the original payment method. Refunds for all transactions will be issued to the original form of payment. Items purchased at Final Sale are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or price adjustments. Personalized items are also considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Orders placed on rag-bone.com.au can be returned to your local Rag & Bone store. Anything purchased in a store or an authorised Rag & Bone affiliate, must be returned the same way as it was purchased.

Note, garments purchased in department stores must be returned to the place of purchase as they have access to your bank information for crediting.

How do I start my return?

Lodge your return request via our Returns Portal: here.

Choose one of the following options:

  • Exchange for a different item (Australian customers only).

  • Store credit – Get an extra $10 bonus credit.

  • Refund – A $10 return shipping fee applies, deducted from your refund.

If you do not have access to a printer, you can present the return label on your mobile device at any Australia Post outlet. They will scan the QR code and print the label for you.

Once received, our Quality Check Team will process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account.

Can I return in store?

Online returns can also be taken in person to any Rag & Bone store (excl. Rag & Bone DFO stores) within 30 days of receipt.

Full price and reduced priced merchandise purchased from our online store are eligible for exchange, store credit or a refund. Please just present your receipt or order number.

Please note if you have previously exchanged your item online and your order number starts with EXC, you will need to be return via our online portal. Stores will be unable to process your return.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Once your return is received, our team may take up to 5 business days to inspect and process your refund.

You will receive a confirmation email once your return is processed.

After confirmation, please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

If your refund is delayed:

  • Check your return tracking number.

  • Look in your spam/junk folder for the confirmation email.

  • If tracking shows the return has been delivered but not processed, contact Customer Service at customercare@rag-bone.com.au or call 1800 724 263.

What do you mean by Quality Guaranteed?

We mean that the products we make are crafted using fabrics, techniques, and a level of professionalism that last from season to season. Every product has a natural lifetime, but — laundry accidents aside — if our product doesn’t reasonably hold up, we'll replace or refund it for you.

Can I return my in-store purchase online?

No, we only accept returns for orders placed on rag-bone.com.au. Items purchased in-store must be returned to the store of purchase.

How can I return a gift?

Lodge your return request online using your email and Rag & Bone order number via our Returns Portal: here.

  • Follow the gift return steps outlined on the portal.

  • Select "Shop Now" to exchange your item for a different size or style.

  • If you prefer store credit, follow the same steps to receive store credit.

  • Exchanges are processed once your return is scanned by Australia Post.

How will my refund be issued if I used a gift card?

At he moment, rag-bone.com.au does not offer gift cards.

Exchanges
  • You can exchange any item within 30 days of receiving your delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, in original condition, with tags, packaging, and the original box.

  • There must be no damage or signs of wear (e.g. sole markings or scratches).

What if my item is damaged, defective, or incorrect?

In the unlikely event you have received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please follow these steps:

For Online Orders:

  • Lodge a return request via our Returns Portal: here.

  • Upload 2-3 clear images of the fault, including overall product shots and soles (for footwear).

For In-Store Purchases:

  • Return the item to the store of purchase with proof of purchase for assessment.

For Stockist Purchases:

  • Items purchased from a stockist must be returned directly to them. Please refer to their returns policy.

Important Notes:

  • Faults must be reported within a reasonable timeframe.

  • General wear and tear or misuse is not covered.
